Algérie Lumière by Rédha Chikh Bled
With its personalized layout, it immortalise certain sequences of the
customs and habits of our ancestral soil. The?uvres dating between
1974 and 2007 is an anthem with a remote past where it was wise to
live. Surfant with complete freedom between the oil-base paint and the
watercolour, this impassioned of Mohamed Racim delivers?uvres
abounding in colors and lights merging sometimes with the multiple
shades.
With the question of knowing why this redundancy of the Kasbah of
Algiers in its work in particular in its book "Algeria Light", Rédha
Chikh Bled indicates that this Médina has an architectural and
geographical characteristic single, "and for this reason I give him
all this interest; and through my exposures, I tried to present it and
appreciate it, because for me, it is not only one city but a mother...
who nourished me since my tender childhood ". The woman in all her
grace and her beauty also occupies a place of choice.
In these smiling creatures testify slim, vêtues of the traditional
dress sauntering or outlining measured steps of dance. In table Leryam
(the day of Friday the gazelles left), drawn famous song of regretted
El Hadj Me hamed El Anka, the painter adapted the words in pictorial
images, added to that a personal translation in French language of the
mythical song. With the time painter, sculptor, designer model maker
in sites and historic buildings, Rédha Chikh Bled conceived and
carried out several?uvres of which the imposing statue of Raïs
Hamidou set up with the public park with Bab El Oued or the mural
fresco carried out in 1987, placed in the hall of the University
higher of the fine arts of Guadalajara than Mexico. He is also the
author, inter alia, of the models of old Algiers and the zoological
gardens of Ben Aknoun.
If Redha Chikh Bled excels with insurance and dexterity in the various
disciplines of pictorial art, it does not remain about it less than it
is also devoted to the readings of poems accompanying its?uvres.
Better still, he is the first Algerian whose name was referred in
Larousse (Connotation).
